Medit - UTF-8 text editor with system-independent input

Features:

1. handles text files encoded in UTF-8 - the ASCII of 21st century, no other encoding is supported

2. searches in text for pattern - use F3 to search, F4 to switch keyboard focus between pattern and text box

3. word wrap can be applied and removed

4. keyboard layouts are independent of the setup of the OS 
   - both Windows and Linux apply a keyboard layout and input scheme to the whole desktop,
      while *medit* uses input based on compose sequences.
      *medit*'s selected compose input method is applied to a given editor window only.
